The Chaise by Bain Walters Review

 Blurb:
Bridgette needs to know. Her successful career and the home of her dreams are not enough to make her stop thinking about her husband.

Theo is in Africa trying to better the world, but what if he does not make it back? She has not spoken to him in two days. Her obsession for her husband teeters on paranoia and it all starts to spin out of control. The present melts with the passions of the past and all she can do is take comfort in the security of her one constant: The Chaise.

I have to say for The Chaise being the first book Brian Walters has written it was pretty good. There were parts were I got a bit confused and that could have used a bit less detail but overall I did enjoy the novelette. And with the shortness of the novel you kind of have to give Brain Walters props for how he out the story together and made it connect. However I do have to warn readers that there are some adult scenes in this book so if you don't like that kind of stuff you have been warned that this novelette  does contain a bit of it. Overall I give this book 3.5 stars out of 5.
